CAL LAB ACCESS, LLC. ("CLA") provides this Privacy Policy to help you make an informed
decision about whether to use or continue using the CLA website, CLA Online Calibration
Management Database Software and/or the CLA Consulting Services. If you do not agree
to our practices, please do not use the CLA website, CLA Online Calibration Management
Database, or CLA Consulting Services.
Since you have trusted us to register your company and your customers’ information.
We want to assure you that how that information will be used. This Privacy Policy
is incorporated into and is subject to the CLA Terms of Use. Your use of the CLA
Website, CLA Software and the CLA Service and any personal information you provide
on the CLA Website or CLA Service remains subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy,
User Agreement and Terms of Use.
What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy is part of CLA’s Terms of Use and covers the treatment of user
information, including personally identifying information, obtained by CLA, including
information obtained when you access the CLA’s Website, use the CLA Service or any
other software provided by CLA.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that CLA does not
own or control, or to individuals whom CLA does not employ or manage, including
any of the third parties to which CLA may disclose user information as set forth
in this Privacy Policy.
The Information CLA Collects
CLA may obtain the following types of information from or concerning you or your
company, which may include information that can be used to identify you as specified
below (“Personally Identifying Information”):
User Provided Information:
You provide certain Personally Identifiable Information, such as first name, last
name, company name, address, country, etc., to CLA when registering as a member
and/or user. In order to provide information about laboratory management system
and proficiency testing plans as CLA Services, CLA will periodically access your
account and your customers’ account to identify services needed.
Cookies Information:
We use cookies on our website and we assume you are ok with this otherwise please
disable cookies in your browser or navigate away and clear cookies set by the website.
When you visit the CLA Website, we may send one or more cookies - a small text file
containing a string of alphanumeric characters - to your computer that uniquely
identifies your browser. CLA uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A
persistent cookie remains after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be
used by your browser on subsequent visits to the website. Persistent cookies can
be removed by following your web browser help file directions. A session cookie
is temporary and disappears after you closes your browser. You can reset your web
browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However,
the CLA Website may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.
Log File Information:
When you use the CLA Website, our servers automatically record certain information
that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may
include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address,
browser type, browser language, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform type,
number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those
pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of your request,
one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. When you use the CLA
Online Calibration Management Database, our servers log certain general information
that our application sends whenever a request is sent or received.
The Way CLA Uses Information
If you submit Personally Identifiable Information to us through the CLA Website,
or CLA Consulting Services, then we use your and your company’s information to provide
you the access and functionality of the CLA Online Calibration Management Database.
Any Personally Identifiable Information or status content that you voluntarily disclose
on the CLA website becomes part of the CLA’s customer database and may be used by
us. We do not use your name or other Personally Identifiable Information to send
commercial or marketing messages without your consent or except as part of a specific
program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We
may, however, use your name (or email address, if provided) without further consent
for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major CLA
Website updates or CLA Service changes or for customer service purposes). We may
use both your Personally Identifiable Information and certain non-personally-identifiable
information (such as cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.)
to understand and improve the quality and design of the CLA Online Calibration Management
Database and to create new features, functionality, and services by storing, tracking,
and analyzing user preferences and trends. We may use cookies and log file information
to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your
visit or the next time you use the CLA Service or CLA Website; (b) provide custom,
personalized content and information; (c) monitor individual and aggregate metrics

submissions, views and such.
We do not sell or share your Personally Identifiable Information with other third-party
companies for their commercial or marketing use without your consent or except as
part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in

service providers to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to perform, improve
or maintain the CLA website. We may share non-personally-identifiable information
We may collect and release Personally Identifiable Information and/or non-personally-identifiable
information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action
is necessary to comply with state and federal laws (such as U.S. Copyright Law),
international law or respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant or equivalent,
or where in our reasonable belief, an individual’s physical safety may be at risk
or threatened. CLA also reserves the right to disclose Personally Identifiable Information
and/or non-personally-identifiable information that CLA believes, in good faith,
is appropriate or necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, take precautions against
liability, to investigate and defend itself against any third-party claims or allegations,
to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity
of the CLA Website or our servers, and to protect the rights, property, or personal
safety of CLA, our users or others. For personalizing the CLA service we may also
collect user's interests by learning how the user has been using the CLA service
in the past.
Your Choices
You may, of course, decline to submit Personally Identifiable Information through
the CLA registration process, in which case CLA may not be able to provide you an
access to their Online Calibration Management Database to you. If you do not agree
with our Privacy Policy, User Agreement or Terms of Use, please do not register
as a member, however you can still contact us for other consulting services you
may need to run your laboratory’s business. Your continued usage of the CLA Online
Calibration Management Database will signify your assent to and acceptance of our
Privacy Policy, User Agreement and Terms of Use. To protect your privacy and security,

any questions or comments.
Our Commitment To Data Security
CLA uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards
to preserve the integrity and security of your data via secure servers and being
monitored by IT support team. Once we receive your transmission of information,
CLA makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems.
However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not
be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical,
technical, or managerial safeguards. If CLA learns of a security systems breach,
then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate
protective steps. CLA may post a notice on the CLA Website.
Data Retention
We maintain your personal information and your company’s information up to 6 months
from the date you cancel your account with us. If you require your data to be transfer
to you within this period please contact us via email: info@callabaccess.com. For
the purposes for which the data was obtained or to comply with legal requirements.
We retain personal information that we possess in connection with the Cloud Services
as directed by the relevant customer and as required by law.
Special Note to National/International Users
The CLA Online Calibration Management Database website and Service are hosted in
the United States and are intended for and directed to users in the United States.
If you are a user accessing the CLA Website and Service from the European Union,
Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection,
use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that
through your continued use of the CLA website and Service, which are governed by
State of Maine law, this Privacy Policy, User Agreement and our Terms of Use, you
are transferring your personal information to the United States and you expressly
consent to that transfer and consent to be governed by State of Maine law for these
purposes. We may transfer your personal information to countries other than the
country in which the data was originally collected, including the United States.
The countries to which we transfer personal information may not have the same data
protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the personal information.
In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy
In the event that CLA is acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, we reserve
the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our registered
users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In
the (hopefully) unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership,
or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable
principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control
how your personal information is treated, transferred, or used.
Changes and updates to this Privacy Notice
This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically and this will be updated on the
CLA’s website without notice. Please revisit this page periodically to update yourself
on the updates. Your continued use of the CLA Online Calibration Management Database
and CLA Consulting Service constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and
any amendments.
